My note on 3D Interpolation, which is better than the textbook section on animating with Euler angles.

The problem with stepping the 3 Euler angles together is that the combo rotation might not be smooth.

5   Possible VIVE Virtual Reality System

I might be able to buy a VIVE Virtual Reality System for class. Anyone who might be interested, please tell me.

Disclaimers: It might not arrive in time. It wants a PC with an excellent Nvidia card and space for the user to walk around. I don't yet know how where that would be and how we'd share it out if many people are interested. Etc. Etc.

6   Homework 5 online

Homework 5 is online; due in a week and a half.

7   Chapter 5 Slides

We'll continue with the textbook powerpoint slides.

The big topic for Chapter 5 is homogeneous coordinates. They allow all the common transformations - translation, rotation, scaling, projection - to be expressed as a multiplication by a 4x4 matrix.
