1   Remote mounting and accessing files

This works for me. You must have ssh set up.

  1. Run nemo,
    1. Click files > connect to server
    2. Type host but not user or password.
    3. Remote filesystem is mounted locally under /run/user/USERNUMBER/gvfs/sftp:host=HOST/
  2. In emacs, use tramp mode: Access file as /HOST:/FILE
