#. EADS Airbus is a consortium of 16 company sites in 4 countries.

#. The management culture wasn't fully integrated.

#. They used different versions of CATIA that couldn't communicate.

#. The A380 was a major new project.

#. The wiring harnesses were made in Hamburg.

#. The fuselages were assembled in Toulouse.

#. It was discovered in 2006 that the wiring harnesses for the A380 didn't fit into the planes.

#. Cost: six billion dollars and a two year delay.
