Arcsin Approximation: Implementation Notes

1. Maple V4 was used.
2. A 7 df Taylor is obtained by taylor(arcsin(x),x=0,7) while a 7 df minimax is obtained by minimax(arcsin(x),x=0..1,6).
3. Plots were written in PCX format, then converted to GIF with Imagemagick.
4. For formulae, the Maple workspace was generally zoomed to 300%, then xv was used to cut a box containing the formula, as a GIF file. Then Imagemagick was used to scale it down to 50%, while anti-aliasing. This produced better images than just zooming the Maple workspace to 150% and cutting.
